Rec Specs up in this bitch! Obviously the Mets starting pitching is absolutely pitch black, lights out. But bridging the gap to Familia is always a little rocky. The bullpen for any big league team can always use a little bolstering. And once the Mets win the NL East Mejia won’t be eligible for the postseason so the Clip Show will be able to slide right in and take his place.

The Baseball Maverick is wheeling and dealing folks! Looks like as the deadline approach Sandy acquired a little bit of a check book, a pair of balls, a Coke Can, a couple Major League Bats, and now a solid reliever. Is he gonna pull the trigger on a bat? Is he gonna move on a guy like Cespedes? Upton? Will Sandy Alderson finally do what Mets fans have been begging him to do?
