Hi, so when we were told in March we had to shut down our inside dining business we decided to offer family meals to get us by, it helped but wasn’t the same. We joined forces with a local nonprofit and decided that for a few weeks we should open our doors to feed the less fortunate. We thought it would be a for a few weeks ended up being 4 months, we did our free meals every Tuesday and Friday. We fed over 13,000 people in 3 1/2 months. 29 different a meals which included meat, starch, drinks, snacks and dessert and sometimes extra food that was delivered. We did our last meal mid June when we were allowed to open back up @25%. August we opened up at 50%, but then that was cut short again right before Thanksgiving they shut us down completely again. I have gotten the local Grants and a PPP but that only lasted so long. Now again, I am struggling to even stay alive. My small restaurant is the Hub of my small town where lots of people meet and gather. We are going on our 10th year and I’m afraid I won’t make it. Thank you for letting me tell my story.
