Tathan Martell (Remember Him?) Has Entered The Transfer Portal (Again)

I honestly forgot about Tathan Martell. He just wasn't in the news after his dominating performance during the 2019 offseason. Just as a reminder, here's a quick recap on Mr. Tathan: The 4-star QB from Las Vegas was a star on the show QB1, won Gatorade Player of the Year, committed to Texas A&M, de-committed from A&M, went to Ohio State and then eventually transferred to Miami. While at Miami he started dating former Barstool Smokeshow Kiki Passo:

Tathan went "missing" and then his mother/Kiki got into some beef on Twitter.

Tathan's experiment at QB for Miami didn't work out, so he switched to WR, which Kiki approved of:

Martell then fell off the earth completely, was brought in for a possession of some no-name bowl that Miami lost to Louisiana Tech. Throughout the 2020 offseason, Martell wasn't in the news, which is why I forgot completely about him. Just wasn't on my or anyone's radar except for when Justin Fields did have a little tweet about him in April:

This was a call back to Martell's tweet when it was rumored that Fields was going to transfer to Ohio State:

This was Fields second jab at Martell after his infamous following of Tate's sister:

Speaking of Rylee, she is now closing in on 100k followers on Instagram.

Martell "opted-out" of the season this year midway through the fall. Today, he ended his time at Miami…back to the transfer portal for Martell with a cringe-worthy motivational video:

Martell just turned 23, but may have 2 or so years left of eligibility after his wild ride:

Where will he end up? 247Sports mentioned UNLV, which makes sense considering he is from Las Vegas. Another option could be Rutgers? I still think Martell has some serious talent and could go into Rutgers, win a QB competition, and lead a decent team in New Jersey. Would just love to see him on the field at some point considering that has still not happened.
