Villanova And Providence Just Had Their Indoor Basketball Game Delayed Because Of.... The Sun

Fuck it, why not? We've gotten games canceled 10 minutes before tip. You have no idea what players are playing or not. Why not add in some shit like sun glare to an indoor arena for a delay? This might not even be the weirdest delay for Nova. Last season they had a game delayed at Hinkle because of a leak. 

I don't care about competitive advantage and shit like that. Play it like an 11am high school makeup game. Run your offense through the sun. Shit, everyone played Gus Macker/Roundball Ruckus 3-on-3 Tournaments. You look up a bit too much and you're blind for a solid 10 seconds trying to get a shot off. I still can't get over how weird a sun glare delay is. I don't ever remember seeing something like this before. 

We're back on as I type this and Providence has a 2 point lead. I can 100% hear Providence and Nova fans both blaming the loss on the delay. Personally if Nova loses I'd blame it on their stupid throwback jerseys. Just wear the baby blues.
