I am writing this on behalf of my uncle, Kevin Burkel, who was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin and has been a small business owner in the community for the last 30 years owning and operating bars & restaurants. His current bar and restaurant, Burkels One Block Over, is located in the stadium district of Lambeau Field and is struggling due to no fans or opposing teams visiting. The NFL season drives the business for the entire year and is what helps him survive during the spring and summer months so even with the vaccine rolling out-his opportunity to make money for the season is coming to a close as monthly losses from the NFL are close to $100K. This bar is not only a great place to come to during Packer season for pre and post game celebrations (or drinking a loss away) but has great food and the sports memorabilia throughout is something any sports fan would appreciate all year long.
