Kmarko's DraftKings Picks - July 20th

KMARKO-HR

Welcome back to the daily DraftKings picks where we try to get super rich playing daily fantasy baseball. As usual I’ll do a brief recap of my lineups from the night before then throw out some picks that I’m brainstorming for tonight, and hopefully get some good feedback/tips/picks from you guys either in the comment section or on Twitter @kmarkobarstool.

Another week, another shot at winning some big money. Finally have a whole week of games after that long ass All Star Break, so without further ado, let’s jump into the picks.

Pitcher Notes:

-Harvey is your only big money guy of the night, and with the value on here, you can probably afford him. Everybody knows his upside. The Nats can be scary, but they can also go super cold and strike out a ton. I’ll try my best to fit Harvey in, if I can.

-I watched the full Mets game yesterday. Gio going up against those guys is enticing to say the least.

-Where did Andrew Heaney come from? Assuming the rain clears out I like his chances against the struggling Sox.

-De La Rosa against Miami could be worth a flyer?

HITTERS

OF Charlie Blackmon $5.3K

Coors night! Kind of pricey here, but if you take a peek at the pitchers, it shouldn’t be too hard to find some value and save room for big bats. And with a game at Coors with another 11 over/under, you’re going to want some exposure. Blackmon is my favorite of the bunch, and one of my favorite guys to play on a daily basis.

Of course, this being a Coors game, there’s also a good chance of rain. Make sure to keep an eye on that. As of now it doesn’t look like a PPD risk…maybe just a couple of delays. But I’m not a weatherman.

OF Carlos Gonzalez $4.1K

Any time a guy gets recalled from Triple A and makes his first start back at Coors Field…you gotta target him. That’s basically in the DraftKings rule book I think. And CarGo at the absolutely shockingly low price of 4.1K? That’s borderline value play territory for a guy who can hit a home run any at bat. Sign me up.

1B Victor Martinez $3.8K

This is the dude that Google Images gave me 50 pictures of for Victor Martinez. It would appear he’s more famous than the baseball player Victor Martinez. I decided to just roll with it.

Victor Martinez as a sub-4K value play, against JA Haap, when the Tigers are projected to be the highest scoring offense outside of the Coors game. Feel like I’m taking crazy pills today. Of course there’s always the chance that the guys doing the pricing are just way smarter than me.

VALUE PLAY C Kyle Schwarber $3.4K

Cubs are a sneaky stack against Lorenzen tonight and I love Schwarber to be right in the middle of that. And the fact that he’s only 3.6K makes it just that easy.

Seriously look at the guy. Look at his face. Tell me he’s not going to take one 600 feet tonight.

That’s it for today, hit me up @kmarkobarstool with your picks of the night.
