It Just Means More: Florida Hoops Kicked Tennessee's Ass Then Celebrated By Humiliating Their Football Program On Twitter

Just an absolute ass kicking by Florida tonight. That might even be polite, they flat out embarrassed Tennessee, a team many thought were the best team in the SEC. They aren't, more on that in a second. But this is still a rivalry. I know it's not football, but it's Florida/Tennessee. So what do you when you're Florida and do this to Tennessee? You humiliate their football program too. 

Just an A+ tweet. That's what you're supposed to do in college sports. Beat the shit out of a conference rival and then talk shit on Twitter if something in the news. A nice little touch to the allegations that Tennessee paid its players via McDonald's bags. 

What this game did though was show the flaw with Tennessee basketball. They rely on being the toughest team. They aren't that skilled offensively, they just aren't. They rank outside the top-50 right now in offense. They shoot 33% from three as a team. They rely on winning defensively, being ridiculously tough and trying to do that. It's why I have them Tier 3 and think Alabama is for sure the best team in the SEC this year. Florida pushed their ass around all game. It's not like Florida shot well, they were 6-for-19 from three.

But this goes back to the tweet. There's no better slogan that fits something more than 'It Just Means More' with the SEC. Love it. I want sports twitter accounts to talk more shit. Tough day for Tennessee. TOUGH day. Hate to see it.
