Gettin' Gritty With It: RA's Gambling Corner Feat. Murls Is Here

We had to sweat it out a little last night but the Blues ultimately did what we wanted and expected them to do. They bounced back after getting embarrassed. Keeping with that same theme, we're all over Philly tonight. They got dummied by the Sabres 6-1 in their own barn last night, their #1 was pulled, and their coach was pissed.

That's a perfect recipe for reinvesting last night's Blues winnings into the Flyers tonight. I don't think Philly is gonna need OT tonight so we are on the Flyers -0.5 in regulation only at EVEN (if the game goes to OT, the bet loses). We're also on the Flyers -1.5 +160 because they should be suitably pissed off to win by at least two against an inferior team even without Coots. We're also tossing in a Puck Line Action Reverse (PL AR) with the Flyers -1.5 +160 and Capitals -1.5 +260.

Late note: Carter Hart is not in tonight. So we riding with Moose. Shouldn't matter.

LATE ADD ALERT!

Friend of Spittin' Chiclets, son of The Capital District, and 17-year pro Matt Murley will also be sharing his picks here as well.

Chicago @ Florida (-160  O/U 6.5)

Murls Take: The Blackhawks are struggling to find their form in the beginning of the season and I am not sure a trip to the Elbo Room in Florida is going to be the team activity that has jump started many win streaks. With that said, if Florida can stay out of the box and not give Kane the room to operate this game should not be close. Also….two statements about the panthers. 1. The Yandle situation was ridiculous and he scored a goal, +2 and had 16 minutes on ice. 2. Rumor has it Bob will be in between the pipes and he is good if you have not heard. So we are going to make a play on the Panthers. Fun fact: my two favorite places to enjoy the finer things in life are Lauderdale and Vegas. Maybe why I lean towards them.

P.S. A ton of action this week as teams find their footing and get into shape.

Murls Pick: Panthers 5-3

Murleys Best Bet:  Florida -160
