Steph Curry Crossed The Goddamn Line With This Ricochet Shot And I Refuse To Stay Silent About It
Now what the fuck is this Steph? I'm not going to go all Trysta and refuse to call you a Batman when listing three guys (KD, LeBron and Kawhi) making the Finals so many times over the last decade and just happen to leave you out. I'm close, but I also know how good you are. Just a reminder that Steph has made the 2nd most Finals out of this group after LeBron. Again, that's neither here nor there.
But back to this. What the fuck did Acie Law do to you Steph? Acie Law - and yes, you must say his full name because it's that awesome - was one of the best college players of this generation. People seem to forget about what he did at Texas A&M. Shit, he single-handedly got Billy Gillispie a job at Kentucky! I should hate him for that, but I can't hate a fellow lefty. Also what is Steph talking about here? Law played 5 games for the Warriors when Steph was a rookie and then 40 games for them in 2010-11. Steph was playing over 33 minutes a game both years while Law played between 13-15. You weren't getting benched for Acie Law, you liar.
We need to put some respect on Acie Law's name. If you're a college hoops fan you remember him - or at least you should. His senior year at A&M was absurd. Led them to the Sweet 16, averaged 18 and 5 and was an All-American. His game vs Kevin Durant that went to double OT in 2007 is one of those 'you remember where you were when you watched this.' Shout out Blanding Hall. Law had a ho-hum 33 and 5 while playing 50 minutes. FIFTY MINUTES. How about this game-winner vs Texas?
Can I interest you in a full game in the Sweet 16 against Memphis?
What about a year's worth of highlights?
Plain and simple - Acie Law IV, badass name, sweet ass player. Fuck Steph Curry for this ricochet shot. Take one at Monta Ellis instead or something. Acie Law, a lefty and college hoops legend.
