Saturday Night Is Live: RA's Gambling Corner Feat. Murls

Giphy Images.

Full slate tonight but that doesn't make picking any easier. I know AV scratched TK tonight and is still trying to light a fire under Philly's ass. Despite their record, they haven't been playing up their potential. But the Isles have lost three straight and Semyon Varlamov got tuned up last game. I'm expecting a bounceback with Varly and the Isles, despite offensive struggles, ought to get back in the win column tonight. So we are on the Islanders -105. That's it. That's the play.

Good luck to all.

Calgary Flames @ Montreal Canadiens (ML-125, PL +190)

Murls Take: If you make a trip to Montreal its never for one night, you always extend the trip for a 2nd night.

We are doing the same here. Didn't plan on back-to-back Habs bets but I really like the way this team is playing and being coached. Jake Allen is arguably the best backup in league and is 2-0 on the season and the Canadiens are scoring many ways PP, PK, and even strength. This is going to be a good game and I am on the Canadiens. Calgary is a team that will test a lot of teams this season but is looking for their better form.

Murls Pick: Montreal 3-2

Murley's Best Bet:  Canadiens Ml -125
