Introducing The Greasiest, Grittiest Hockey Goal That Has Ever Been Scored

Holy smokes this one had it all.

First up we had a massive clapper from the point. The grittiest shot in the game. Mantha was locked and loaded, gripped it and ripped it from the point as the extra attacker with the goalie pulled. Then the boys crash the net hard, it was originally called no goal, and we get treated to a nice little line brawl. You've got the goalie getting into the mix, Tyler Bertuzzi looking for anybody with a face he can cave in, and then you even have former teammates Dylan "D-Boss" Larkin and Zach Werenski chuckin away.

Best friends off the ice but until that final whistle blows, the boys are enemies. If this were the NBA, Werenski and Larkin would be off to the side trying to come up with a plan on how to start a superteam together. But this is the NHL, and if they need to beat the shit out of their best friend because the team needs them to? Well that's precisely what they're going to do because it's all about the team, the team, the team.

And at the end of it all? Good goal.

Goalie pulled. Clap bomb from the blue line. Crash the night. Line brawl featuring a best friend tilly. Put it on the scoreboard.

Pretty tough to ever come up with a greasier scenario to light the lamp than that.

P.S. - PLD getting that trade value up. Turns out that desperately wanting to get away from Torts gives you a nice little boost to get on the scoresheet.
