Yale billiards has been a family owned business for almost 30 years. They pride themselves on a family fun atmosphere for all. The pandemic has absolutely devastated their usual occupancy from being closed for 2 months to not being able to have people sit at the bar and pool players having to wear masks while playing per CT. No one wants to wear a mask while shooting pool so more and more people continue not to show up. Yale Billiards is an absolute pillar in the community who just raised close to $10,000 for JDRF for a young female employee of theirs who died a few years ago of diabetes. As a business that thrives on people coming through the doors and hanging out and shooting pool this pandemic and restrictions have taken a huge toll on the business. Help is needed to continue to pay all of our employees and not have to let anyone go due to a severe decrease in customers.. Yale Is all about family and everyone looks out for others and each other.
