Nerlens Noel Hopped On Twitter For The First Time In 5 Months To Stuff Someone In A Locker Who 'Reported' He Didn't Want To Be A Knick
Now I know the Knicks are back. Sure, we can talk about Thibs getting these guys to play their ass on defense. Sure, we can talk about Kenny Payne's ability to develop guys, especially bigs. We can talk about Julius Randle turning into a legit All-Star and early MVP candidate. We can talk about Immanuel Quickley and Austin Rivers off the bench. We can get into RJ Barrett's sophomore year jump.
But, nope. Now we have guys mixing it up on Twitter for no reason whatsoever. That's what I want to see out of the Knicks. Be entertaining, play your ass off and make improvements. Pretty simple. We're 3 for 3 so far, something I never expected to say. But now you have Noel, who missed last night with an ankle injury, correcting shit on Twitter. You think he cares if this guy has 4,000 followers and clearly making up some source? Nope. He's a Knick for life now. That's a guy you want in your bunker with the Knicks. Speaking of this guy, if you have a bio like this you are no mayor of #scoopcity
I might have to update my profile to say 'beat Shams one time on Daishen Nix leaving UCLA for the G League.' First you get the scoop, then you get the money, then you get the khakis. All I know is I want Noel to be good for the Knicks. The dude was good at Kentucky before he tore his ACL. He deserves to be good on the Kentucky Knicks. He's the perfect shot blocker and energy off the bench. He knows what he has to do. Play defense, finish at the rim, set high ball screens. Then talk your shit on Twitter when someone says you don't want to be on a team with a winning record.
Hit the damn music.
