Up next: Claddagh Pub (Baltimore, MD)

Claddagh Pub, Baltimore’s original Irish and soccer pub, opened in the Spring of 1995 as a continuation of a family owned establishment in downtown Baltimore on Chase Street in the 1970’s and into the 1980’s. The terrific food and relaxed atmosphere will make you feel at home.

I come from a CRAZY Irish/Italian family and I will not stop until I make us whole again, and COVID has truly broken us. My dad and grandmother have owned an Irish pub/restaurant, Claddagh Pub, for 26 years—an institution in Baltimore City. My grandfather, and patriarch of the family, passed four months ago making this year even worse. He was the backbone of Claddagh Pub, a place I have called home quite literally since birth. I am 25 years old and I'm feeling completely useless. I can't put into words the turmoil and distress I feel every day, hearing my father talk about doomsday scenarios and how COVID has hurt his life's work; questions no kid should have to hear: How will I provide for my family? What will I do for work? Where can we go? Claddagh Pub is home to so many, and I don't want to live in a world without it. Please help me help my family and all the employees and loyal customers who have found refuge there for the past two decades. I actually work at Fox News in DC and it's all the more sickening every day having to see and literally live through the gross politics that have put my family in this horrendous position. Thank you so much for all you do. And my dad is a huge fan of Dave. Even if you cannot help financially I think any sort of pick-me-up (even just a message) would help my dad/family SO MUCH! Thank you.
