The Underdog Bar and Grill in Haledon, NJ is right outside of Paterson. I used to bartend there on Friday nights then covid hit and I have family that are compromised. Anyway the owner and I grew up together and he would never ask for help. So I’m asking for him. Right when covid hit his long time girlfriend Lizzie, goes to the hospital for stomach pain and she has stage 4 cancer. They got married at city hall the next day to get her on his insurance. So between the bar getting crushed and his now wife recovering from cancer it’s been a tough haul for the owner.
