My family has been in the carnival business for over 30 years. Obviously with covid and there being very little to few live events this year we have missed out on an entire years worth of salary. That doesn’t mean the bills don’t stop. Government has put limits on what we can and can’t do even though we did have 2 carnivals go on this year and there was no severe outbreak from either of these events. When you’re in the carnival business everyone that you are on the road with are your family. It has left us heartbroken that everything we have ever known was taken from us in an instant. Not only did the government shut us down, but insurance would not provide any assistance because we don’t have a “brick and mortar” location. $10,000 worth of insurance for absolutely nothing. We can’t wait to get back out on the road and provide family fun and get back to doing what we love. Thanks for reading! I included a picture of one of our food stands for the carnival.
