THE Big Ten Champions. Next Up: THE College Football Playoff

ALL HAIL THE BUCKEYES! Remember when it was 10-6 at the half and everyone thought the world was going to come crumbling down? You guys bullied me into blogging the potential of actually losing to Northwestern, lol. But then Ryan Day read Twitter and realized that if we just run the ball, there was nothing that Northwestern could do to stop it. I mean, has a player ever put the Buckeyes on his back like Trey Sermon did in the 2nd half? 29 carries. 330 yards. 2 touchdowns. Broke Eddie George's single game record at Ohio State. The dude ran around people. Ran through people. And jumped right over people.

Someone needs to photoshop Texas A&M's logo onto the Northwestern player there too. Swing and a miss. Enjoy the Cotton Bowl. Because the Buckeyes just locked themselves a spot in the playoff. And I will not sit here and listen to any other points of view. Ohio State was down 14 players, their best wide receiver, their starting linebacker, and their starting safety. And they came out and absolutely waxed that ass in the 2nd half, solidifying themselves as the undefeated back to back to back to back Big Ten Champions. We played the schedule you made for us. And we won all of our games. WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT US TO DO?

People are chirping on Twitter and on the television stations that Texas A&M won 34-13 at Tennessee today and is going to make the committee look long and hard about putting them into the top 4. Are you guys blind? Tennessee is 3-7. Northwestern was 6-1. A&M didn't even win their side of the division, and we're Big Ten Champions!!! This is a no-brainer.

I do wish that Ryan Day would've punched in a touchdown from the 2 yard line at the end of the game though. Both because it would've covered the 18 point spread AND because it would've made this win a little prettier in the eyes of the committee. But either way, the Buckeyes are IN. Now the question is who are we going to play? I kinda want Notre Dame to win again tonight. Leave them at #2. We go to #3. Boom, give us another "good defense" to beat up. This team has won through the air all year, and today they won on the ground. The only thing that could stop the Buckeyes this year was covid and Crooked Kevin Warren. But it looks like we took their best punch and we're still churning, right into the playoff baby!!!
