It's not very often I feel cultured as fuck in general, let alone while watching video games. Seeing Big Cat perfectly execute a wheel route with one of Coach Duggs' teams or General Smitty get his heart ripped out of his chest while losing a game of Fortnite to a 10-year-old at the last minute would be two examples of such moments.

But this video melted my brain. The symphony, the eloquence, the fact a violin can sound just like every sound effect from an 80s video game. Recreating the sound Mario makes when squashing a goomba to an unfathomably painful death or playing the underwater song, which has always been a lowkey banger, is one thing. But popping off roughly 100 1-Up sounds in a row using fingers more magical than even the digits of the infamous Finger King.

I guess this guy has a bunch of other videos that appear to be made right when this pandemic had us in lockdown and getting really weird. Check them out if you want to burn some time at work while we run down the clock until Christmas break while also tickling your nostalgia bone with the sounds of some awesome throwback Nintendo games.
