Tommy Stats NFL Week 15: Teddy Bridgewater's Dominance As A Road Dog

Welcome back to the lab. Every Sunday morning during this NFL season, I'll be blogging the stats and trends that I presented on Barstool Sports Advisors, plus some additional ones that I didn't get to use. These stats are a mixture of ones I've found across various websites, and also some just through my own research from pouring through the data. 

Below is my entire cheat sheet I use for Advisors each week. Lines courtesy of the Barstool Sportsbook, subject to change from the time I compiled this. 

Buffalo Bills (10-3, 8-5 ATS) @ Denver Broncos (5-8, 8-5 ATS)

Sat 4:30 PM on NFL Network

Mile High Stadium is used to low scoring games. 

-The under is 15-6 in Broncos last 21 home games

-In the Broncos last 10 December home games, there’s been an average of just 34 PPG (under is 7-3)

Carolina Panthers (4-9, 7-6 ATS) @ Green Bay Packers (10-3, 8-5 ATS)

Pick a Teddy Bridgewater stat, any Teddy Bridgewater stat. Incredibly impressive trends here. 

-Teddy Bridgewater is 18-2 in his career as a road underdog, 13-1 when getting 3 or more points on the road

-Teddy Bridgewater is 19-3 ATS on the road in his career

-Teddy Bridgewater is 23-6 as an underdog

-Teddy Bridgewater is 7-1 as a TD or more underdog

-Panthers are 7-1 ATS in last 8 as an underdog

-The Panthers have covered 5 straight road games

And maybe keep an eye on the under as well. 

-Under is 6-1 in Packers last 7 December home games. 

-Under is 5-1 in Packers last 6 vs. a team with a losing record

Seattle Seahawks (9-4, 7-6 ATS) @ Washington Football Team (6-7, 8-5 ATS)

Speaking of guys that just know how to cover football games…

-Alex Smith is 13-3 in his last 16 games as an underdog. He has covered 6 straight as a home dog

-Alex Smith is 9-1 in last 10 as a dog of 3 points or more

-Team is optimistic he will play, but even if not, Ron Rivera is 44-29 ATS in his career as an underdog

-WFT is 5-1 ATS last 6 as an underdog

But if you want a Seattle stat, don't be scared off of them flying west to east. 

-Seattle is 17-6-2 ATS in last 25 games in Eastern time zone, have won 11 of last 12

Kansas City Chiefs (12-1, 6-7 ATS) @ New Orleans Saints (10-3, 7-6 ATS)

-Saints are a home dog for just the 8th time since 2013. In those past 7 games, they are 6-1 ATS and have won 5 outright

-Saints are 9-1 ATS in last 10 as a dog

-Saints are 12-3 ATS in last 15 as an underdog off a loss

Cleveland Browns (9-4, 5-8 ATS) @ New York Giants (5-8, 8-5 ATS)

CLE -4.5

-Browns are 0-6 in last 6 as a road favorite 

-Giants have covered 7 straight as underdog more than 3 points
