Keenan Allen Yelling "DON'T SIT ME" To Fantasy Football Owners Before The Game And Then Catching 1 Ball Should Be A Criminal Offense

Everyone knows what time of the year it is: the Fantasy Football playoffs. And Keenan Allen, the #9 highest scoring wide receiver this season, had people SWEATING leading up until game time last night. He was listed as Questionable, and Adam Schefter reported that if he did play, he would likely be limited. Well that just sucks. What do you do? Honestly, you hope that he gets ruled out, so you don't have to make that decision. Because you absolutely cannot leave what is likely your top receiver on your bench in the playoffs. If he catches even one touchdown, you're a moron. But you also don't want to play someone that is on a pitch count.

But about 13 minutes before the game kicked off, Keenan Allen himself made the decision for everyone.

How could you leave him on your bench after that? And if you look through the replies, you'll see that the entire world agreed. "Sitting Mike Evans now" -- "Just subbed out Justin Jefferson" -- "Just switched Corey Davis for him".  I mean, you have a Keenan Allen guarantee that he's going to play and he's going to get the ball. But guys, he caused a last minute earthquake of roster changes and substitutions….all for this:

1 point in non PPR leagues, maximum of 2 if you give a point per catch. Some people are now in such a hole that they're basically out of the playoffs before the games even kick off Sunday.

I'm sorry, and I hate to be all Fantasy Football obsessed guy, but that sucks Keenan Allen. This is way different than Nick Chubb or Todd Gurley going down at the 1 yard line. Fantasy owners were all pissed at them, but at least those were smart football plays. This was you putting your nuts on the line, making sure everyone that had you on their roster started you, and then completely laying an egg. You played in 24 total snaps. That is the definition of limited. And you caught ONE BALL.

What should be the punishment here? Because this is clearly a criminal offense. At least a hefty fine….or I think Keenan Allen should be paying the entry fees of every owner that started him in the playoffs last night. It's only fair.
