Terrible And Sad News: Henrik Lundqvist Will Not Play This Season Due To A Heart Condition

Awful news. Heart breaking. Absolutely heart breaking. I know all of us were looking forward to seeing Hank play in DC. It was an exciting new chapter of his career he was about to begin, and it looked like him and his family were fully embracing the move to DC. Even die-hard Rangers fans like Glenny Balls and Avery were excited to see Hank in DC and to see if he could get a Cup with us. So this news today that he will miss this upcoming season with a heart condition, well how else do you put it, it SUCKS. I feel for him and his family and hope he makes a full recovery from this. 

It does seem like he is keeping a good sense of humor, as he started his statement with "it breaks my heart (literally)". I was really looking forward to seeing and rooting for the man that Rangers fan hold in the highest regard, up there with Jesus and Billy Joel.
