Wake Up: It's Clemson Week

It's time. I need everyone to be locked the fuck in right now. You know why...the haters are ready. They're at the gates. In all my years as a Notre Dame fan and all my years of writing about Notre Dame on this web page, 2020 is the absolute ANGRIEST the haters have ever been. They're foaming at the mouth. They're going mad. They're screaming because deep down....they know. They know this isn't a Charlie Weis team. They know it's different than 2018 and 2012. For my entire life they've mocked and jeered about relevance and being a fraud. Now they quiver and quake. What they've witnessed over the 10 years under Brian Kelly is culminating before their eyes. The haters are seeing a resurrection unseen since Jesus wore short pants. 

This week they're yell about the schedule. You calmly tell them that ND played a conference schedule and went undefeated. They'll point their finger in your face and say that Trevor Lawrence didn't play in the first game. When that happens you say that you know and ask them if they think that Lawrence would be decidedly better than the 440 yards and 2 TDs put up by DJ Uiagalelei. They'll get frustrated and talk about a neutral site game. You tell them that the ticket prices after over $1300 for this game that normally doesn't sell out and that when ND wins again they'll rush the field at Bank of America stadium too. 

Notre Dame is on the verge of something special here. A conference championship by an Independent would be incredible. Another playoff appearance should happen. Notre Dame is an elite program right now. Enjoy it. Don't let the haters drag your thoughts down into the gutter because Notre Dame is back. This is when you start to shake your head and look down your nose at them...just how they hate it most. Go Irish. No more Mr Nice Guys
