No Kidding Scottie Pippen 'Wasn't Too Pleased' With His Partner, Who The Hell Could Blame Him?

[Source] - How accurate was the The Last Dance in showing what went on?
I don’t think it was that accurate in terms of really defining what was accomplished in one of the greatest eras of basketball, but also by two of the greatest players – and one could even put that aside and say the greatest team of all time. I didn’t think those things stood out in the documentary. I thought it was more about Michael trying to uplift himself and to be glorified [the series was co-produced by Jordan’s Jump 23 company]. I think it also backfired to some degree in that people got a chance to see what kind of personality Michael had.

Have you spoken to him about your opinion of series?
Yeah. I told him I wasn’t too pleased with it. He accepted it. He said, “hey, you’re right”. That was pretty much it

Of course the partner I'm talking about is Michael Jordan. Who else would it be? What else is going on in Scottie's life? Oh, right:

Nope, we're taking a break from Larsa until she does something with an NBA player again. This time it's Scottie being upset with MJ because of The Last Dance. Frankly, I don't blame him. The whole documentary was about Jordan making it despite Scottie Pippen getting migraines and sucking against the Pistons. It was how MJ made the Bulls go. It was all that. Hell, the entire takeaway from an episode was Scottie was kinda soft.

Not only just that, arguably the most quotable event from the entire series came from Pippen ... refusing to ruin his summer.

You obviously had to focus on the year without MJ. It's part of the entire story of the Bulls 6 titles. Because of that you had to focus on this:

Needless to say there were a bunch of negative moments in The Last Dance for Scottie. But what the hell did he expect MJ to say to him when he told him he wasn't pleased? Let's be honest, there was a 100% chance MJ just told him to shut the fuck up and deal with it. It was a MJ doc. Of course MJ had it made to focus on his positives and lack of negatives. It's why we didn't really learn much or focus on the gambling or any of the off the court stuff with MJ.

Tough times for Scottie right now. Good on him for focusing on the documentary that came out what feels like 10 years ago. Way to shift the talking point from your wife with Malik Beasley to being pissed at MJ. PR 101 right there.
