Vandy Was So Bad Today Sarah Fuller Didn't Even Get The Chance To Kick A FG

Earlier today I blogged Sarah Fuller's first kick for Vanderbilt. It was a squib kick, but a kick nonetheless. As awesome as it was to see Fuller get in the game and make history, we all were sitting at home hoping she would get a chance to split the uprights.

In that said blog I wrote:

Hopefully, by the time you read this blog, she will have gotten a chance to kick a FG. Unfortunately, Vanderbilt is so bad, they have barely gone past Mizzou's 50-yard line all game. This whole situation is working out to be an incredibly Vanderbilt moment due to how bad they are. Fuller can't even get the chance to attempt a kick! Figure it out Commodores, we want more history.

That was at the beginning of the 2nd half. What happened for the remainder of the 2nd half? Well, for Vanderbilt....absolutely nothing. Despite being winless on the year, heading into today Vanderbilt had scored in every game. Today? Completely blanked. Zero points. They didn't really come close either.

13 1st downs.

179 total yards.

Just 2.1 yards per rush. 4.3 yards per pass.

All they had to do was score once. We just wanted to see one single extra point attempt. Maybe a 30-yard field goal attempt, but Vanderbilt was so so bad today that they didn't even get past Missouri's 32.
