UMass Saved Their 2020 Season Just To Get Outscored 161 To 12 In 4 Games. Sad.

Remember this? That absurd quote by the UMass football coach? Feels like a year ago, but it was actually just under 4 months ago.

Luckily (or not?) for Walt Bell, UMass decided to save their 2020 football season for some reason. They started off with one single game scheduled against Georgia Southern. That went so poorly (41-0) that they decided to schedule three more.

@ FAU: 24-2

And after starting the season 0-3, with 12 points scored in total, Walt Bell decided to not let his players enjoy Thanksgiving at home. They went down to Liberty to lose 45-0:

Since this tweet, UMass has been outscored 557 to 126. 11 losses. Zero wins.

Those are some numbers you can't make up. Has to be one of the worst runs in FBS history. I will be looking up if it is truly the worst run in CFB history.
