The Ravens Are Shutting Down Their Facility Due To Positive COVID Tests And Thursday's Thanksgiving Game May Be Up In The Air
They say when it rains it pours. But they don't talk about when the hail comes in. It's a fucking hailstorm right now in Baltimore. The Ravens are catching it from all directions. On the football field, in the playoff picture, in terms of health, in the public eye… nothing is going right for the Ravens right now and they just can't seem to stop the bleeding. Most of that is their own doing, but it's just insult to injury to just take blow after blow after blow like they are right now.
Suddenly the game on Thursday is very up in the air of even happening. The sensible thing to do for the NFL would be to push the game to Sunday to at least buy time to confirm negative tests, but would the Shield really give up a Thanksgiving primetime game featuring the league's best rivalry? I don't envy the spot that they're in.
No matter how you slice it, the timing on this could not be worse for the Ravens. Potentially short week on the road against your biggest rival who happens to be 10-0 when your season seems to be on the ropes. Hoping everybody is healthy and that's what's important, but damn do things suck right now…
