Steelers Don't Play Down To Their Competition; Move To 10-0

Well, back-to-back weeks of the Steelers bullying "weaker" or "lesser" opponents after they completely controlled the Jags on Sunday to move to 10-0.

That obnoxious narrative can hopefully start to be put to rest.

It was a little bit of a slow start. Tied 3-3 after the first quarter but after that it was all Pittsburgh and the starters got to rest up the last six minutes of the game while Baltimore was going blow for blow into overtime. Perfect combo heading into Thanksgiving night's rematch with the Rat Birds.

Not much else to be said about this one. Let's hand out some game balls per usual.

Terrell Edmunds

Hey hey! How about it?! Edmunds continues to get stronger and stronger and now is even making plays on the ball. He snagged his first INT of his career in the second quarter.

Then the really impressive one came in the fourth quarter where he broke beautifully on the ball, tipped it with one hand, then snagged it for his second.

A lot of Steelers fans, myself included, have given Edmunds a lot of shit about his inability to make plays on the ball. Good for him today and good for him for continuing to grow.

Diontae Johnson

Back-to-back 100+ yard receiving games for Diontae Johnson who is starting to make his way to clearly become the number one threat for the Steelers offense. How about this circus catch?

The dude can run routes with anyone, he's got great hands, he makes people miss. He's a hell of a player, and he's only getting better.

Minkah Fitzpatrick

Another week, another game of Minkah Fitzpatrick being a ballhawk. Two INTs for him. One came in the second quarter when the Steelers were still only up 7 and the Jags were driving. Nice assist from former Jaguar Tyson Alualu tipping the Luton pass and of course the ultimate centerfielder Minkah came flying underneath it reminiscent of the Cowboys game a few weeks back. He added another in garbage time to bring his season total to four on the year.

And as I'm finishing this up the Ravens lose in overtime to Tennessee to fall to 6-4 before heading into Pittsburgh on Thanksgiving night. Time to bury them on national television.

Here We Go.
