Does "Don't Mess With Texas" Include Flipping The #1 Rated Recruit In The Country To Ohio State?

Oh no, Texas. Again?

For those of you that don't remember, the entire Urban Meyer / Zach Smith fiasco is rumored to have began when the Buckeyes gotten Garrett Wilson from Lake Travis to commit to the Buckeyes over Texas. And the story goes that Tom Herman was so upset at Urban Meyer that he called up Brett McMurphy and dished the dirt. And that was only the #4 player in all of Texas. This is the #1 player...#1 quarterback....not only in Texas....but in the entire COUNTRY! Apparently this kid is an all-timer.

Uhhh, hey Tommy, whatcha got for this one? You got anything to run Ryan Day out of town? Because since he got hired, here's the timeline of events:

12/4/18: OSU announces Ryan Day as next head coach.

1/4/19: Justin Fields transfers to Ohio St.

4/30/19: 5-star 2021 QB Kyle McCord commits to OSU.

12/18/19: 5-star 2020 QB CJ Stroud, 4-star 2020 QB Jack Miller sign with OSU.

11/19/20: 5-star 2022 QB Quinn Ewers commits to OSU.

All while losing a grand total of 1** game to Clemson and the referees. I mean, there's no doubt where QBU is these days. The only doubt I am starting to have is, uhh, was it a good thing for Ohio State that Urban Meyer retired? I mean, we were sweet and all, but Ryan Day is the absolute truth. A machine. A players coach and a murderer on the recruiting trail. He's already killed michigan and it seems like he's about to kill Texas. How do they come back from this? Again?

Anyways, the rich get richer. We've gotten the #1 overall player in the country three years in a row. If our 5-star that hasn't played yet doesn't pan out after Justin Fields, I hope our other 5-star that hasn't played yet does. And if they both don't, I hope this #1 overall player in the country is okay.

Haha, and people are saying we should be nervous about Indiana tomorrow? Yeah, I'm shaking.
