This is exactly what I wanted to see this morning. Again, my two worlds coming together with Kentucky and the Knicks. What's better than that? First off, this pick makes all the sense in the world. The Knicks need shooting, desperately need shooting. There are vey few, if any, better shooters in the draft than Quickley. He shot 43% from three last year with a quick release that can shoot both spot up and off the dribble. Perfect. He's a good on ball defender. Perfect. He's a great secondary ball handler. Perfect. More importantly he's one of the hardest working dudes ever. I know it's cliche, but if you talked to anyone surrounding the UK program they'd tell you exactly what Cal says in this video. 

Now as a Knicks fan how the fuck can you not be excited about Quickley saying things like 'coach this is just the beginning, you're about to see something great'? Put that quote all over the damn place because Quickley will do just that. I also know people will brush off him saying things like people told him he couldn't do it. It's true. It didn't matter that Quickley was a 5-star. He was always expected to be a 4-year guy that was a borderline league player. One of those great college players, but not guaranteed to make it. That was his story. He was the 25th recruit, yeah it's great, but it's not a guarantee to be a league guy. Just an A+ pick at 25 for the Knicks. 

PS: Don't care for Cal saying the current team can't make any shots. Don't even care if that's a joke. Can't have that out in the universe.
