Maikel Franco Is Really Good At Baseball

In case you haven’t noticed, and judging by the attendance you haven’t, 3B Maikel Franco is literally the only good thing going for the Philadelphia Phillies for both now, and the future. After being dreadfully over matched during his late season call up last year, Franco has been pure beast in 2015. In only 37 games the Dominican wonder has 46 hits, 10 dingers and 29 RBI’s. He is one of the only glimmers of breathable air in this dumpster fire of a ballclub. The best part? This kid is only 22. That means when the Phillies are finally ready to compete again in 2036 he might have a child ready to step in and contribute.

I hate this team.
