Tyler Herro Is Fucking Thrilled To Not Be A Boston Celtic

It's NBA Draft day which means we're going to get a ton of stories about past ones and all that good shit. But nothing makes me smile more than the Celtics, Celtics fans and Tyler Herro. All year we heard Danny Ainge loved Tyler Herro! He was his favorite player! He was going to draft him! Over and over again. It's the easiest guarantee every Draft. There's no one better than Danny Ainge at getting the media to talk about how he had the breakout star from each draft at the top of his board and was ready to draft him. You'd think as a guy that Celtics fans call 'Trader Danny' and act like he's the greatest GM ever with 1 title would, you know, make a trade to get his top guy if that's the case. Otherwise this happens:

Here's the thing, Herro is 100% right to be thrilled to be on the Heat instead of the Celtics. They have a better GM. They have a better coach. They know how to utilize him. They are better set up for success. They beat them in a series. He doesn't land Katya Elise Henry in Boston. Hell no. 

Hell, if he's on the Celtics he doesn't get a song named after him

Real question is who do we think a year from now the Celtics fans are screaming 'Danny wanted him! He just didn't fall to us!' as they lose before the NBA Finals again.
