Think It's Pretty Clear Ricky Rubio Fucking Hates Being Traded To The Thunder

Well then, that's one way to say you're unhappy. I get it though. Being traded from a team that was just in the bubble and went 8-0 trying to get to the 8th seed and a young core to the Thunder, who are in complete rebuild mode sucks. Nobody wants to go to a team that isn't expected to do shit. Remember Rubio left the Jazz and signed a three-year $51 million deal last offseason with the Suns. Here he is expecting to play next to Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton for three season and now it's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and uhh, Lu Dort I guess? Not exactly the same and I love SGA and think he's going to be a star. And yeah the Thunder are in rebuild mode now but it's fucking insane what Sam Presti has done to help move that along the next couple of years. 

Hell I wouldn't be surprised if Presti somehow flips Rubio for another first rounder. The Thunder are 100% going to end up with like Chet Holmgren and Emoni Bates. 

Hell they might just get Cade Cunningham too. I'm fascinated by the Thunder. An organization that had Harden, KD, Russ and Ibaka. To Chris Paul getting them to the playoffs. To now this young rebuild and likely another core that will have star potential. Now I'm sure Rubio will show up and play. He's not going to be a distraction or anything. But I don't have a problem with his tweet. He has every right to be pissed, anyone who gets traded without a demand does.
