Rick Pitino Is Talking Crazy By Trying To Push The Season Back And Have May Madness This Season

Hey Rick, what the fuck man? We're 11 days away from the start of the season and I'm already giddy. I can't have it pushed back. I've been waiting way too long to have college basketball on my TV again. We don't need to push it back, but rather need to adjust how the protocols are. I said it before, but I've had coaches complain about how dumb it is to shut down for 14 days if a support staff member tests positive. That number should be 7. We can come up with other ways to have this season, which isn't going to be normal, feel as normal as possible. Also, remember that Iona is one of the teams shut down right now so Rick is probably firing off pissed off tweets. We've all been there.

Oh and as for the second part of the tweets? No thank you. Get out of here with every team making the NCAA Tournament. That's incredibly stupid. It's not a participation trophy. If you want to make the NCAA Tournament, win your league or be good enough for an at-large. We have 68 teams that make it, that's plenty. We don't need 340+ figuring out a tournament schedule. The entire regular season would be absolutely pointless. I get if March Madness needs to be pushed back as the season goes on because of interruptions, but adding every team to it does nothing. Oh and there will be March Madness, college basketball literally can't survive another one cancelled. So start it as normal and adjust if you have to. 

11 days. 11 days and we're getting top-5 matchups. 11 days and we're arguing about real basketball being played, not what-ifs. 11 days and all is right in my world.
