Urban Meyer: 7-0 vs. Michigan, 1-0 vs. Coronavirus

No surprise here. I mean, I guess it is a little remarkable that the entire world didn't know Urban had coronavirus, but it is the least shocking news in the history of communication to hear that he beat it. By a lot. Easily.

And I know what a lot of you are probably thinking: Urban Meyer? The one with such serious health concerns that he had to leave Florida (only to go to Ohio State less than a year later) and then had to resign from Ohio State (after being suspended 3 games for allegedly covering up domestic abuse) due to severe headaches and stress? Man, you would think that a guy with such serious health issues would fall right smack dab in the middle of the High-Risk category. The type of guy that coronavirus would feast on. But the good thing here is that Urban Meyer also falls directly into another category: the Winner category. That's all he does.

3x National Champion. 187-32 overall as a head coach. 12-3 in bowl games. And 7-0 vs. Michigan. You think this sounds like the type of guy that takes a loss in anything? Look, and I'm only speaking from my own personal experience, but I'd have to imagine Urban Meyer outprepared covid in this matchup. Scouted his opponent and attacked its weaknesses. Probably had a mask on 24/7. I mean, everyone knows Urban Meyer has always loved a good cover up.

Anyways, glad to see Coach is doing well. Now he can go back to working in his very important Assistant Athletic Director role at Ohio State, not in whatever jobs these cats are talking about....
