BATON ROUGE, La. —Four Louisiana State University football players, including quarterback Anthony Jennings, were arrested in Baton Rouge on Thursday.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office booked Jennings, cornerback Dwayne Thomas and defensive end Maquedius Bain.

The three players face charges of unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling. They were suspended indefinitely by LSU head coach Les Miles.

“It has been our policy to suspend players who have been involved with legal issues. I have met with all three players involved extensively. We are still working with campus housing and the authorities to determine what exactly took place. This is an on-going investigation, and our players will cooperate fully,” Miles said in a statement.

Jennings was the starting quarterback for the Tigers in 2014. He was expected to be competing for the job in the upcoming season. His bail was set at $5,000.

So who’d we get last night? Oh just FOUR members of the LSU football team, including the god damn starting quarterback.

Advocate - LSU defensive tackle Trey Lealaimatafao was arrested for simple battery and simple robbery, a felony, on Thursday following a fight in the parking lot of a Baton Rouge bar, according to police booking records.

LSU team spokesman Michael Bonnette said Lealaimatafao has been indefinitely suspended from the team. This is Lealaimatafao’s third such off-the-field incident and second arrest in one year in Baton Rouge.

Lealaimatafao, a redshirt freshman from Texas, dug through the pockets of an unnamed male victim after the victim had been beaten unconscious by “uknown suspects” in the parking lot of Reggie’s bar on Tuesday, police records show. Lealaimatafao then punched the victim’s girlfriend in the face with a closed fist when she interfered, police records show.

Lealaimatafao continued to dig through the male victim’s pockets after the alleged beating. Three eye witnesses told police that the football player fled the scene when authorities arrived. All three witnesses gave police similar accounts of the incident and identified Lealaimatafao out of a photo lineup.

Twitter has had it up to HERE with this garbage.

It’s almost like these SEC coaches aren’t concerned with the character of the guys they’re recruiting or something?*

*That’s the high horse stance you’ll probably hear everywhere else. You tell me there’s a 50/50 shot the big time QB I’m bringing in gets arrested at some point I would not give a FUCK, if he’s going to win me some SEC games and get me more multi million dollar contracts. Hell I’d do it with a 95-5 chance. Scared money don’t make money.
