Minifan Walks 88 Miles in 36 Hours to See Kirk Minihane Record a Podcast Episode at a VFW Hall
Legendary friend of veterans Kirk Minihane spent this weekend raising a pile of money to save VFW Post #8006 in Florence, Massachusetts. When we announced the show, Kirk explicitly banned one fan, Steve from Providence, from attending the show unless he walked from his Section 8 housing complex in Providence all the way to Northampton. For non-New Englanders, that's a hike of almost 90 miles.
He did it, and he's got the chaffed, disgusting, roadkill thighs to prove it.
We asked our intern, Intern Justin, to document the journey. But he got tired after 13 miles and decided to go home, take some sleeping pills, and slumber for 17 fucking hours. Steve managed to take some video of the trek, which I'll post here so you all get a good look at the guy who will one day murder Kirk.
