Mo Gaba Getting A Street Named After Him In Baltimore Is The Best Thing You'll See Today

Been sitting on this for a few days but now that it was officially announced we might as well talk about it. If you don't know who Mo Gaba is or what he means to myself, Jeremy Conn, and the city of Baltimore, you can refresh here....

Jeremy went on 105.7 The Fan this AM and announced that on December 2nd, the day before the Ravens - Cowboys game, Maryland's Governor Larry Hogan will be hosting a ceremony officially naming a street "Mo Gaba Way". I mean how cool is that. I can't say exactly where the street will be, but it's in walking distance of both Camden Yards and Ravens Stadium. It's going to be a must see on your way to watch the Birds next year. Such an awesome honor for Mo and his mother Sonsy. If you know Baltimore sports you know Mo and how much we all loved him. The Ravens have gone above and beyond with their remembrance of Mo this season, the Mo's Rows, waiting the "MO" in the Endzone, everything has been awesome. This is another thing that goes to show what a special kid he was and how much we miss him.

Jeremy also mentioned NFL Network has been filming something that will air Thanksgiving Night before Ravens - Steelers, and a few other networks are also putting together some things to air on TV to let the world know about Mo and what he meant to this community. There's also going to be a talking Mo bobblehead that will have some of his sayings with the proceeds going to a charity, some really cool stuff planned to keep celebrating a life we lost way, way, way too soon. Obviously with everything going on the last few months, weeks, days, this is a bright light in a pretty dark time. I can't wait to be at the ceremony for the unveiling of the street, going to be an awesome day celebrating our friend Mo.
