Pornhub Is Forcing People To Confirm That They Voted Today In Order To Log Onto Their Website

Source - In yet more proof that nothing is safe from politics these days, Pornhub is allowing only those who have voted in this year’s presidential election to enter the X-rated website on Election Day 2020.

That’s right, those visiting the online pornography purveyor Tuesday will notice a prompt requiring them to confirm that they’ve cast their ballot before entering the site — or at least to lie and say they did.

The measure is part of Pornhub’s “give a F - - K” to “get a F - - K” campaign aimed at encouraging the public to exercise their 15th Amendment rights. After all, the NSFW site attracts more than 95% of eligible voters, the AV Club reported.

Pornhub’s Twitter account even provides a linkdirecting skin-flick enthusiasts to their nearest polling station. The pop-up does not require information on the user’s political affiliation.

Call me crazy, but I had no idea today was election day. I didn't see anything on Instagram or Twitter, nothing on the news, and no one's been talking about it in person. It wasn't until I logged onto Pornhub during my lunch break where I was prompted with a "did you vote" message that I knew we were in the midst of a Presidential election...

Pornhub ARIA also tweeted out a reminder to "give a fuck so you can get a fuck" on the official Pornhub twitter account...

Personally I would've liked to see some music underneath the graphics, but that's neither here nor there. If their website attracts more than 95% of eligible voters like they say, they're just trying to do their part. It's called corporate responsibility. Good on 'em. Now take it away, Ray!
