Did Something Positive Just Happen In The Conor McGregor/Dustin Poirier Fight Negotiations?!

What could it all mean?! WHAT COULD IT ALL MEEEAAAN?! WHAT COULD IT ALL MEEEEEAAAAAAANNNNN?!

I'll be honest - before Dustin tweeted anything, I thought McGregor's tweet was in response to the reported buyrate for 'UFC 254: Khabib vs Gaethje', which was 675,000 worldwide (500,000 of those coming domestically). Dana White was saying in the week leading up to the fight that it was trending higher than 'UFC 229: McGregor vs Khabib' (the highest PPV buyrate in company history at 2.4 million buys), so I figured Conor just wanted to rub some salt in the wounds of this supposed disappointing number and laugh a little in a "You thought I was toast, but I'm still the bread!" way.

After Poirier hopped in with a matching tweet of his own tho, you've gotta assume they've either come to some kinda agreement/advancement on this fight, or possibly even that the UFC has thrown the title onto it, yeah? If Khabib is retired - that championship is vacant, and who better to change that than Conor McGregor or Dustin Poirier?!

I'm going to presume an agreement of some sort has been reached, but I'm hoping the title is on the line as well. Why not mothafuckas?! You think someone else should have the belt instead? Tell em they'll have to take it outta McGregor's cold dead hands after January 23rd.
