What Should Be The Punishment For Posting A Jump Scare Video In The Year 2020?
So I watched this video while getting my Monday morning rolling which caused me to spit out my coffee and I wasn't even drinking any. What kind of bullshit is this? I get that it's #SpookySZN and all that hullaballoo. But simply firing up social media these days is scary enough with all the political nutjobs yelling at the sky and occasional threat of bitch boy covid taking away football season. I don't need some phantom from the afterlife giving my already overworked heart a jolt while there is still some sleep in my eyes.
If you tweet out a copyrighted piece of content in 2020, you get a strike against your account. If you tweet out something that can be seen as deceiving or #fakenews, you get the tweet put behind a click wall. So if you tweet out a jump scare video in the year 2020 of our Lord, there need to be repercussions. I understand that jump scare videos were a big part of Internet 1.0, since that exorcist girl would show up on countless computer screens thanks to everyone's dickhead friend. But that glorious place was also a lawless world full of bums fighting and girls eating shit. I'm not saying there is not a place for that kind of stuff. In fact, I'm pretty sure you could become a millionaire on OnlyFans with that type of content. However, despite being someone that truly believes humanity peaked in the early 2000s when our culture vaguely resembled a Seaside boardwalk, scare videos are one of the things that should have been left in that wonderful time because stories from the real world on social media are already scary enough.

Anyway, the answer to the question above is the death penalty, ESPECIALLY if the person that sent the jump scare video is a repeat offender.

Also I like this punishment since it would not only be worse than death but harken back to the jump scare video heyday as well as drive Joey legitimately insane while trying to do his job scouring the internet for the most demented videos.
