Tennessee Football Is Still The Biggest Laughingstock In The Country - New Story Says They Fired A Coach DURING The Loss To UK

[Source] - A source close to the UT program tells KSR that Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt fired assistant coach Jimmy Brumbaugh during the game on Saturday. Pruitt let Brumbaugh go while the game was still being played, confirming it after it was over.

I don't want to keep piling on that team in orange, but sometimes you just have to report the news. That's what we do here. It would be a disservice to my job if I didn't talk about Tennessee firing its defensive line coach DURING the ass kicking Kentucky gave them. And I know what you're thinking - yes the defensive line coach is in fact in charge of quarterback play and recruiting.

You actually have to give Brumbaugh some respect. His defensive line helped hold Kentucky to just 187 yards on the ground. Hell, we only scored 1 rushing touchdown. For those that struggle with math, that would be 1 less touchdown than Kentucky's defense scored because Jarrett Guarantano loves turning the ball over.

There is no lower low than being fired while getting your ass kicked. Just an absolutely brutal feeling. Brumbaugh deserves better. He can come be the assistant defensive line coach at Kentucky. Give him a chance to see some success and exceed expectations. We'll welcome him with open arms.

Never change, Tennessee. Don't worry, next year is totally your year (for the 20th year in a row).
