Update: Turns Out The Two NCAA Athletes With The Most Followers Are Shaq's Son And A Gymnast, Both From LSU

Hand up. Last night, I was fake news.

I said that Paige Bueckers has the most followers out of any NCAA athlete. 

That isn't true, as a few people pointed out to me in my DMs.

Arizona State's Josh Christopher has close to a million on Instagram, but this blog isn't about him, but instead the LSU TikTok farm.

Shareef O'Neal (2.4 million on Instagram, 1.1 million on TikTok, 320k on Twitter) is Shaq's son and dominates every other athlete in terms of followers. 

Then there is Olivia Dunne (808k on Instagram, 3.1 million on TikTok), who I learned about in the replies to my blog last night:

I don't know what it is about LSU, but they just attract viral superstars.
