Bruins Finally Confirm The Obvious: Claude Will Be Back For 2015-16 Season

Just a short time ago, GM Don Sweeney announced that Claude Julien and his staff would be back with the Bruins next season, confirming what Tony Massarotti first reported on air the other day (see, that wasn’t hard, DuPont).

It only would’ve been a surprise if they didn’t bring Claude back at this point, considering he already missed out on a handful of potential jobs and it’s been just about two months since the Bruins shitty season ended—quite a long time to let a guy twist in the wind.

The coach was the least of the Bruins’ problems last year and Claude has done more than enough here to warrant bringing him back to try to fix things. The only question is how much rope Don Sweeney is going to give him to help carry out the GM’s mandate(s).

But that’s shit we’ll worry about in the fall. For now, enjoy summer. Especially you, Claude.
