The First Ever Kobe Chant Happened 24 Years Ago To The Day That The Lakers Won The 2020 Title

OK sometimes you just have to concede that there may be things in this world outside of your control. I feel like this Lakers championship may be one of those things. Yes, a huge part of why the Lakers were able to pull it off was because of LeBron/AD and some of the best defense we've seen a team play all season. But I'm at the point now where you cannot convince me that Kobe wasn't involved. I don't know how, but I know what my eyes see. It dates back to the Clippers series Game 7. Remember when Kawhi/PG combined for 24 points in 81 minutes? Yeah try and tell me that wasn't Kobe. The Lakers won the Finals in 4-2 (24 backwards)? Kobe. And now this little nugget of information? The first ever Kobe chant came 24 years to the DAY of the Lakers winning the 2020 title?

Giphy Images.

Yeah, I'm sure these are all just coincidences. I'm not a huge math guy but I imagine the odds of all those things unfolding and having a tie back to Kobe are like 1 in 1,000,000,000,000. At the very least you have to admit it's a little spooky. When people talk about how maybe the Lakers were a team of destiny, this is what they mean.

Normally you have to jump through all sorts of hoops to make connections like these. That is not the case with Kobe and the Lakers title. His fingerprints are everywhere. It kind of freaks me the fuck out.

Call me a sucker if you want, but I believe in this type of shit. This nugget reminds me of way back in January when this stuff happened right after Kobe's passing

Somehow someway its all connected. The proof is in the pudding whether you want to believe it or not.
