Bad News For The Heat As The Lakers Switch It Up And Are Now Wearing The Mamba Jerseys In Game 5

Well, if you were someone that thought maybe the Miami Heat would somehow find a way to win Game 5 and extend this series just a little bit longer, this is not what you want to see. The Lakers haven't lost in the Mamba jerseys at any point in these playoffs. I don't think that's a coincidence. Everywhere you look there are signs of Kobe from above. Shit like this always freaks me out and I hate to say it but there is no way the Lakers lose in their first opportunity to win the title while also rocking the Mamba jersey. That's not even a reverse jinx attempt by me, I truly believe that. Granted they probably weren't going to lose anyway but now? This almost seems unfair. 

There's really only one move for the Heat here right? They have to find a way to be allowed to rock their Miami Vice alternates

you have to fight fire with fire. It's really their only chance. I'm not sure what the rules are about that but Pat Riley needs to call in a favor and make this happen if he wants to keep the Heat season alive.

All I know is you can't pull a move like this if you're the Lakers and then not back it up with a win. That ruins the whole mystique of the Mamba jersey. Something tells me that won't be an issue though. They've sort of adopted this "win it for Kobe" mentality and to pull it off while wearing the Mamba jersey feels like something right out of a movie. 

So good luck to the Miami Heat. You're most definitely going to need it.
