The Texans Just Fired Head Coach, GM, And Football Czar Bill O'Brien

So it turns out dragging a couple of teams with shitty quarterbacks in a bad division to the playoffs only gets you so far if you decide to go all in like 10 times over, constantly bumble critical decisions in those playoffs, and start winless after a brutal first three games then losing to another winless team. I honestly thought there was a chance that Bill O'Brien would just become a permanent fixture atop the Texans football ops that future generations would associate with each other, like Bear Bryant at Alabama, except swap the championships with tweets of him being dunked on for an in-game or offseason move.

Speaking of those trades...

Speaking of bummers...

Sorry Texans fans, at least BoB can no longer hurt you or your franchise quarterback. Unless he somehow promoted himself to owner before firing himself as HC and GM, which honestly feels like a move he would pull.

Finally, speaking of moves this move is my new favorite news confirmation tweet ever.

Gonna be tough for poor Billy boy to look in the mirror for a while...

Now cue Jets and Giants fans asking for the same treatment to be given to the football boogeymen of their respective franchises in Adam Gase and Dave Gettleman.
