The First Trailer For Nathan Fielder's New Show Looks Weird As Hell

Here is the teaser, which was released a few weeks ago. 

For those of you unfamiliar with 'Nathan For You', get familiar with it. It is one of the funnier pound-for-pound series in recent memory, and Fielder has a very specific sense of humor that tickles me just the right way. I actually only started watching it after I saw KB wearing a Summit Ice shirt one day and asked where it was from.

Fielder is an EP on this HBO Max show, but John Wilson is the guy behind the camera. I'm not familiar with him, and after this trailer I just assumed that it was an elaborate bit by Fielder. Most of the websites with stuff on him seemed sketchy, but he at least has a Vimeo history stretching back 8 years. 

The trailer looked fucking weird in all the right ways. NYC is a hotbed of the best weirdos the world has to offer, so giving them a mic will always be great material. It looks like it's basically going to be Humans of New York except it will be funny instead of depressing. Here is what to look forward to: 

Personally, I'm looking forward to the Risotto recipe because I've never been able to nail that quite right. 

P.S. I'm still not ruling out it being a bit at all
