Special early edition DraftKings post today since the majority of the games are day games. As much as I’m getting into daily fantasy baseball I will say there are two major annoyances: 1) The weather and 2) Day games. Not a hell of a lot of time to research and check lineups and read up on experts for games that start at noon when, you know, you have a job you’re supposed to be doing. So this one will be quick but just wanted to rattle off some of the guys I’m thinking about for today.

Didn’t quite win the million but placed and cashed a little bit at least.
Hope everyone got on Donaldson. I may not be an expert, and 50% of my picks may be duds every night, and I might not cash in many tournaments, but if there’s one thing I’m consistent with, it’s predicting Josh Donaldson home runs. What can I say, it’s a gift.
Another incredible start by DeGrom wasted by the bullpen. Him and Harvey have just got to be fantasizing about the next place they’re going to take their talents.
On to today, in order of salary…

Gerrit Cole $10.5K
I usually like to give a cheap option here but I think I’m locked in on Cole. Just too safe, and like I said, nothing scares me more than a horrible pitching performance that can torpedo your entire lineup. Got a great matchup with the shitty Marlins at home and I think he can handle it pretty easily. Just please please please stay away from Giancarlo.
OF Michael Brantley $4.9K
2B Jason Kipnis $4.7K
Colby Lewis has finally come back down to earth, he’s a fly ball pitcher, and the Indians are expected by Vegas to score close to 5 runs. My guess is they come from these 2. Love the Indians today. Cleveland flying high after that big Cavs sweep.
C Brian McCann $4K
Hey you gotta fill catcher with somebody. McCann is one of the most frustrating players in daily fantasy…seems like he sits out every other day, he’ll put up 0’s with the best of them. But he can also get a hold of one and be the top scoring catcher of the day. I like his chances of going deep at home today.
SS Jung Ho Kang $3.8K
Been my secret weapon in DFS and his price just refuses to climb. Have a feeling now that I’ve said his name out loud he’ll put up a big fat 0 today but whatever, Brad Hand doesn’t scare me, and he certainly doesn’t scare everyone’s favorite Korean.
