BY GAWD! That's Terry Francona's Music!

Alright so I blogged this after last night's game -- no disrespect to whoever is running the main account's social media these days, but I would like to sue them for falsifying information. I did NOT say that the Indians were "one of the most feared teams in baseball". My blog was clearly published onto the website as "THE Most Feared Team In Baseball".

Anyways, it's pretty clear why. Being able to trot out the #1 pitcher in baseball gives you a leg up on any opponent, doesn't matter what artificial seed they have this year. There are no home crowds. It's just baseball. And when it's just baseball, the Indians are going to be up 1-0 in any series they play. And in a three game series, that matters. No one wants anything to do with the Cleveland Indians in round 1. I would imagine if they let the top seeds pick who they want to play, the #7 Indians would go dead last. And that was before the news came out a couple minutes ago....

The Indians may have just jumped from Most Feared Team in Baseball to the World Series favorites. ****Pending Tito is the manager

Look, I have no problem with Sandy Alomar Jr, but this would be monumental for the Tribe. Terry Francona is the best manager in baseball, bar none. And while he's missed a good chunk of the season with his gastrointestinal issue, getting him back to bring the locker room together right in time for the playoffs would be a mojo that is rivaled only by a rally monkey. Opposing teams do NOT want to see Cy Beiber trotting out onto the mound AND this type of mojo in the dugout helping our bats.
