Wake Up With Max Scherzer Striking Out 10 Batters After Breaking His Own Face With A Bunt

Max Scherzer breaking his own face after bunting a ball directly into it and then going out the next day and striking out 10 in 7 innings is maybe my favorite Max Scherzer thing ever. You'd have a lot of guys who would immediately go on the IL and take a week off. Max wanted the ball right that second. He didn't even want to practice bunting, because I feel like Scherz feels like bunting is a sign of weakness, but he had to do it. Boom, ball pops right up into his cheek and eye. Again, Max could have pushed his start back but nope, he was like "I'll just K 10 real quick." Legendary stuff here by Mad Max.
